How AI credits work
Credits measure Achilles AI usage, not time at the vehicle. Your model, the information it processes and the steps in a task determine consumption.
- What uses credits
- Questions, document analysis and agent tasks use AI calls. Longer context, larger answers and additional steps increase usage. The selected model also changes the cost.
- What does not
- Waiting and open connections are not charged. Chiron diagnostics and Astra links do not use AI credits on their own.
- One monthly allowance
- Credits are shared across the devices in your plan and reset on the first day of each month, UTC, without rollover. AI assistance pauses when the allowance is exhausted.
Software only. Each device seat is assigned to one machine at a time. Adapters, computers and OEM licences are not included. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed terms.
